May 19, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Tsinghua University’s EMBA forum “Strength to Support Enterprise Development”, Chairman Chu Jinfu of Senyuan Group (EMBA 2004) donated 10 million YUAN to Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management. Dean of the School Professor Qian Yingyi, Deputy Dean of Tsinghua PBC School of Finance Professor Liao Li (former Deputy Dean of School of Economics and Management), and more than 300 Tsinghua EMBA school alumni and students attended the donation ceremony.

During the ceremony, Chairman Chu Jinfu delivered a check of 10 million YUAN to Dean Qian Yingyi. Mr. Chu wished to contribute to the development of his alma mater. Qian Yingyi expressed his sincere thankfulness to Mr. Chu, and he said that Mr. Chu’s donation at the 10th anniversary of Tsinghua EMBA has special meaning to the School, and he also wished that Senyuan Group would become bigger and stronger.

Chairman Chu Jinfu said that the company’s sales revenue was about 400 million YUAN when he attended the EMBA course, and now the sales venue is more than 6 billion YUAN. He said that the company’s rapid growth relied on his experience from Tsinghua EMBA course which enriched his business idea and allowed him to grasp every business opportunity. 

At last, Mr. Chu said that he wish the School will become a word-class business school, and he would continue to contribute for the School’s development.

October 16th, the foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for Yulin•Senyuan Hope Primary School was held in Yulin Village Town of Houhe. Yue Baozhou, director of the Bureau of Education in Changge, Chairman of Senyuan Group Mr. Chu Jinfu, Director of finance Mr. Yang Heling, and Government officers of the town and Yulin Village attended the ceremony.

Asan entrepreneur born in Yulin, Mr. Chu Jinfu said to his fellow villagers “Weare born and raised in this land, cared and protected by each of the fellowmen,we felt the good influence of the excellent traditional culture, received qualityeducation, and we have developed good personality. Though we are not at homefor all those years, we never forget the nurturance of our hometown and we careabout its development all the time. When we achieve success and get stronger,we would like to express gratitude for the love and care from the fellows. Aswe all know, economic development relies first on education, in order to letour descendants receive better education, Senyuan Group will donate 2 millionYuan to build the Yulin Senyuan Hope Primary School for the interests of ourdescendants. 

Director of Changge Education Bureau Yue Baozhou highly praised Senyuan Group’s donation, he said that “Senyuan Group’s donation is a philanthropic act and will benefit the hometown people a lot. It shows the care and support of Senyuan Group to the education cause of Changge City, indicates that Mr. Chu Jinfu, as an excellent entrepreneur cares much for people’s livelihood and has strong sense of responsibility to repay the society.”

Representative of Yulin Village and student representative of Yulin Primary School also extended their sincere thankfulness for Senyuan Group respectively on behalf of the villagers, teachers and students.

May 28, the third meeting of the 4th session of China Society for Promotion of the glorious cause was held in Beijing. The meeting nominated the entrepreneurs and companies that have made outstanding achievements during the year. Chairman Chu Jinfu become one of the 50 winners who were awarded the “Medal of Glorious Cause”. Provincial government officers presented awards to the winners.

As a private entrepreneur, Mr. Chu Jinfu always adheres to the operational concept of “serving the society and contributing to the country”. While making legal operation in the principle of honesty and integrity, he also earnestly fulfills social responsibility and actively participates in the Glorious Cause Program and social welfare activities. As of the end of the year 2011, he has donated more than 30 million Yuan for charity and public welfare including supporting the poor, livelihood, education, disaster relief, etc.

The main participants of the Glorious Cause Program are people from non-public sector, especially private enterprisers. It also encompasses Chinese businessmen from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the rest of the world at large. “Medal of Glorious Cause” is for people who have made outstanding achievements.

April 21, the donation ceremony of United Front Work Department of Henan Province and private enterprises of Henan Province for Yushu Earthquake relief was held in Zhengzhou City. Chairman Chu Jinfu donated 200,000 Yuan on behalf of Senyuan Group in the ceremony.

April 14, Yushu County of Qinghai Province was struck by earthquake for two times successively, and the highest magnitude was up to 7.1, which caused more than 2,000 deaths and more than 12,000 people were injured, more than 15,000 houses collapsed and 100,000 people became homeless. The Central Party Committee, the State Council and people all over China set their eyes on the disaster. It is the traditional virtues of Chinese people and also the compelling responsibility and obligation to give help for the disaster relief, Senyuan Group’s 200,000 Yuan donation and will make the disaster-stricken people feel the warmth of the nation. 

For many years, the company always actively participates in the social welfare and philanthropy cause, and has donated generously for the construction of hope school, anti-poverty, flood disaster relief, earthquake relief, etc. which shows the strong sense of social responsibility of the excellent enterprise. As of now, the company has donated money and goods valued more than 10 million Yuan.

May 17, Senyuan Group donation ceremony for the earthquake relief was held in the multifunctional hall of Benma Company. Chairman Chu Jinfu, Vice President Yang Heling, senior management staff of Senyuan and the employees attended the donation ceremony. Everyone actively donated and showed their concern for the disaster-stricken people. Meanwhile, the Group also set up donation boxes in Zhengzhou Industrial Park, Senyuan Switch Plant, Parts Plant and Assembly Plant, Benma 3-Wheel Manufacturing Company and Automobile Manufacturing Company. 

May 12, 2008 – a violent earthquake of 8.0 magnitude struck Wenchuan, Sichuan Province, and the whole Asia felt the quake. Just in a flash, all the houses collapse, roads disconnected, communication was gone, and the disaster area was more than 100,000 km2, and hundreds of thousands of people were buried in the ruins. 

May 14, Chairman Chu Jinfu donated 200,000 Yuan for the disaster-stricken people. In order to help them to live through the disaster. Senyuan organized a donation again. On the donation site, we can see that many staff that was on their business trip asked their colleges to donate for Wenchuan; many newly recruited members who haven’t received their first pay also donated. Though we cannot go to the disaster site to help, our hearts are closely connected with the disaster-stricken people. According to statistics, the overall donation reached more than 350,000 Yuan.

April 25 to 26, the company organized donation activity for Ya’an earthquake relief. All the staff donated to show their concern and support for the disaster-stricken people. We all hope that they will overcome this difficult time and rebuild their homes with our help.

April 20, an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude struck Ya’an City, Sichuan Province. A lots of houses collapsed, roads and bridges were broken, mountain landslide also occurred. The earthquake caused great damage and trauma to the Sichuan people. As of April 25, it has caused about 200 deaths, and more than 10,000 people were injured. General Manager Cao Hong called everyone to show our love and support, and help them to come over the difficulties, so that they can rebuild their home and get back to normal life earlier.”

According statistics, our staff has donated 205,509 Yuan, which showed our sincere love for the disaster-stricken people.

　　On August 26th, Senyuan group’s Autumn Student Aid Ceremony was hold at the Senyuan Group Conference Center. The president Chu Jinfu and vice President Qiao Qingzhou, Yang Heling, Chen Xishan, Kong Qingzhen, etc. with the general labor union president of Changge city Jia Zhaowu and vice president Sicaimei attended the ceremony, and student grants were awarded for 57 excellent students.

　　On behalf of the Senyuan Group’s party committee and all staff, the president Chu Jinfu expressed hearty congratulation to all the excellent students and their parents. Chu always stated that the once-a-year Autumn Student Aid Program is very important to help students to realize their academic dreams, dedicate their love, carry forward China traditional virtues, and transmit social positive energy.

　　The president Chu also putted forward three wished for the students: First, to be a person with firm conviction. It is very important to set lofty aspiration and firm ideals and beliefs, and closely link the individual’s aspiration to the future and destiny of our country. Second, to be a self-improving person. Students should make full use of hard-won learning opportunities and cherish precious youth time, and reward parents for their parenting gratitude. Third, to be a grateful person. The sincere care form all sectors of the community should be transformed into a power motivation for the gratitude society.

　　Jia Zhaowu, president of general labor union of Changge city, fully affirmed the work of Senyuan Group in the social welfare activities such as the Autumn Student Aid.

　　At the ceremony, the subsidized student representatives and parents’ representatives respectively spoke and expressed their gratitude for the company’s care. The students stated that they would work hard and return society with practical action.

　　On the morning of September 21st, Senyuan’s leaders Zhao Zhongting, Zhang Yuxia and heads of relevant departments came over to the home of Yang Jianzhong, sending him 100,930 yuan donated by all the staff of Senyuan. Yang Jianzhong was injured in a car accident. The leaders asked him to take care of himself and recuperate at ease, striving for an early recovery.

　　The donations made by the company staff not only provided sufficient funds for Yang Jianzhong’s re-operation, but also ignited hope for his plight.

　　Senyuan has been acting on the principle of “helping those in distress and aiding those in peril” and “delivering positive beliefs”. With targeted poverty alleviation, annual needy student subsidy granting activities, hope school donation and building, Senyuan has been shouldering the social responsibility and moving forward.

　　The target of this donation was the 2017 freshmen who were too poor to pay for university fees, and the students were recommended by Changge city Love Transmission Association.

　　On behalf of the Senyuan Group, the vice president Yang Heling expressed his hearty congratulations to the students, and expressed hearty gratitude to the staff from Changge Love Transmission Association for their sincere and selfless dedication to convey the positive energy.

　　The vice president, Yang pointed out that Senyuan Group always adheres to the cooperate philosophy of “serving the society and contributing to the country.” While dedicating itself to development, it actively undertakes social responsibilities and actively participates in public welfare undertakings.

　　Yang Heling stated that knowledge changes its fate and learning makes achievements in the future. I hope that the students will be a person with a firm belief, be a self-improving person, and be a person who knows how to be grateful. Aiming at lofty goals, conscientiously studying, and strengthening self-cultivation to serve the country, repay parents, and realize their value!

　　The Party Committee and Labor Union of Senyuan Group held the 2016 Golden Autumn Fellowship Granting Ceremony in conference center on August 24th. During the ceremony, 54 children of our employees who will be entering into college this fall and 17 poverty students selected by Changge Love Association received the students’ subsidies.

　　The secretary of Senyuan Party Committee and the Board chairman Chu Jinfu attended the ceremony and made an important speech. He pointed out students are the future and hope of our nation. He encouraged students to change their destiny by knowledge and also expressed his expectation and requirements. The first is to cherish the opportunity and study hard; the second is to be grateful and back to society.

　　Feng Jintao, the funded student delegate, said that he would keep the entrustment in mind, study hard during the university and make himself a useful person for national construction and development. Liu Jiegui, the funded parent delegate, said that Senyuan provided him with a stable job and considerable income. He would continue to work hard with a grateful heart in the future work.

　　Senyuan has attached great importance to public welfare education since its foundation. It built Yulin Senyuan Hope School, donated the teaching building of Tsinghua University and established the non-profit Senyuan University with Changge Government.

　　The deputy secretary of Senyuan Party Committee Kong Qingzhen presided over the ceremony. Senior officials attended the ceremony.

　　August 27th, Senyuan Group held the Golden Autumn student subsidies granting ceremony in the conference center. During the ceremony, 37 children of our employees who will be entering into college this fall received the student subsidies.

　　Chairman of the Group gave a speech during the ceremony. He said that student aid is not only important for current employees, but also beneficial for our future generations. By doing this, we fulfill the Senyuan philosophy which is service for customers and devote for the community. Mr. Chu also expressed his expectation to the students. He asked them first to be grateful, to their parents, to those who have given them a helping hand; second, to be independent, get ready for all kinds of challenge in life, and work hard toward a promising future; Third, to study hard at school and to make contribution to the national rejuvenation.

On the afternoon of February 15, Director of finance Yang Heling and other leaders from the Labor Unions visited the families of our poor staff and sent them fruits, edible oils and subsidies, and meanwhile sent the regards and greetings from the company.

In each family, Yang Heling shook hands with the staff and their family members and sent the early New Year wishes. Mr. Yang also asked about their family, their health and living conditions and encouraged them to build confidence and overcome the difficulties bravely. Some staff became very emotional when received the subsidies from Mr. Yang and were very grateful for the care and support from the Company. 

On the new year’s eve of 2015, the companyvisited 23 families who were in need. The care from the company sent warmth tothem and we wish them a happy new year.

September 10, Senyuan Group holds the Student Grants Issuance Ceremony for staff children for the year 2014. Chairman Chu Jinfu made an important speech. Vice President Qiao Qingzhou nominated the staff children who were enrolled into universities. Chairman of Senyuan Electric Yang Heling, leaders and staff representative of member companies of Senyuan Group also attended the ceremony. 39 staff children who were enrolled into universities and their parents received the subsidies from company leaders and they were all very excited.

Chairman of Senyuan Group Chu Jinfu congratulated the 39 staff children and extended his respect to their parents. He said that student sponsorship program would benefit the students and have a long-lasting effect; and it was an important work for Senyuan Group to actively practice the corporate concept of “serving the society and contributing to the country”, and establish a harmonious enterprise and implement the heart-warming project; we have kind hearts and we also do good needs, we would further advocate the traditional virtues of “devoting your love and caring for the future” and establish a good atmosphere of caring and helping those staff who are in need of help.

Mr. Chu asked the children who will enterthe universities: first, be grateful, care and treat their parents with filialrespect, and also serve the society; second, be independent, and be brave to takevarious challenges; third, repay the society and become a valuable citizen tothe society. Mr. Chu also asked them to have lofty ideals and contribute to theprosperity of the nation. He suggested that all the parents to carry forwardthe good tradition, to take responsibility, and to have the confidence to improvethe family’s financial situation. Mr. Chu hopes they will become the impellerto fulfill the Chinese Dream and Senyuan Dream with their wisdom and hard work. 

During the ceremony, parents representatives Lou Guanglin and Yang Qiuxia gave a speech respectively, they both showed their gratefulness for the Company’s care, and they said that they would always remember the warmth of the big Senyuan family and not fail the expect of company leaders; meanwhile they encouraged the children to cherish the opportunity, be diligent in study, and repay the society in the future.

September 3, the fifth Scholarship Issuance Ceremony of Senyuan Group – Yulin•Senyuan Hope School Foundation was held in the school. Vice President of Senyuan Group and Vice Chairman of the Foundation Mr. Yang Heling and other members of the Foundation issued the scholarship and gave a grant of 100,000 Yuan to 17 Yulin students who were just enrolled into universities, 18 excellent teachers of Yulin•Senyuan Hope School, and 36 excellent students and destitute students. 

On behalf of Senyuan Group and Yulin•Senyuan Hope School, Vice President of Senyuan Group Yang Heling extended his sincere congratulations towards the students and teachers who received the commendations. He said that “the scholarship issuance aims to commend the students who are enrolled into universities this year, and commend the excellent teachers and students, so as to advocate the social custom of ‘respect teachers and emphasize on education’, and establish a good atmosphere of respect knowledge and talents. I hope that the students who received commendations will cherish the honor, be modest, make persistent efforts and make new achievements. I wish that all the teachers will always remember their mission, love the education cause, be stringent in the work and diligent in study, constantly enhance the teaching capabilities and improve teaching quality, and cultivate more useful talents for the society. I also wish that all the students will follow the example of those who received the commendations today, cherish the good study environment, set great ideals and stick to them, study hard and become useful talents to the country and the society. ”

During the ceremony, student representative Zhao Yanmin who was enrolled into Central China Normal University said that she will always be grateful and study hard to repay the hometown and the society. Representatives of excellent teachers and students also expressed that they would not let those who care and support them feel disappointed, they would be diligent in work and study, and make efforts to build Yulin•Senyuan Hope School as the best school in Changge City.
